Interior Designer: Hirsch Bedner Associates Limited (HBA)

HBA has recently unveiled the design of the UPVIEW Clubhouse in Nanjing, a remarkable project that marries traditional brocade elements with modern oriental style, inspired by the historically significant Zhan Garden and Ming Palace. This innovative clubhouse system features a central clubhouse of approximately 3,000 square meters, complemented by six general clubs, each around 900 square meters.

Mars Yao, the Design Director at HBA Hong Kong & Shenzhen, spearheaded the project, infusing the interior with a modern oriental aesthetic. The design concept embodies harmonious living between heaven and earth, highlighting diversity and integrating contemporary artistic elements and themes such as green and smart living.

The centerpiece of the clubhouse is a sculptural spiral staircase, a striking focal point that draws the eye and adds vibrant energy to the otherwise tranquil space. This is complemented by artistic installations in the lobby, creating a dynamic and engaging environment for guests. The clubhouse also features private banquet halls, executive swimming pools, executive lounges, gyms, and children’s play areas, offering a multitude of socialization opportunities.

HBA’s design emphasizes excellence in aesthetics, details, materials, and functionality, a hallmark of high-end residences. The integration of urban resort-style landscapes with traditional oriental design techniques results in an innovative and captivating clubhouse that stands out in Nanjing.

By drawing inspiration from local landmarks and incorporating a diverse range of contemporary and artistic elements, HBA has created a space that is both modern and rooted in historical significance. The UPVIEW Clubhouse is a testament to HBA’s commitment to innovative design and high-quality living environments, offering a unique and luxurious experience for its members.
