Oberson Architects has unveiled the striking Ton Sur Ton Residence, a testament to their innovative approach. Covering an expansive 230 square meters and featuring two terraces facing opposite directions, this residence offers a seamless blend of indoor and outdoor living experiences. With a design objective focused on creating a modern and sophisticated living space that integrates seamlessly with the existing layout of the apartment, Oberson Architects embarked on a journey to craft a dwelling that would not only meet the needs of its occupants but also reflect the vibrant local culture.

Known for their collaborations with local artists, Oberson Architects enlisted the expertise of Israeli designer Erez Navi Pana. His art, delving into natural phenomena and environmental processes through material exploration, is showcased throughout the apartment with a series of salt pillars and Bedouin-inspired textiles. Miriam Cabessa’s paintings and a wall art piece inspired by a woman and the Israeli figure also grace the space. Oberson Architects ensured that every aspect of the Ton Sur Ton Residence exudes artistic finesse and cultural significance.

At the heart of the residence lies the main entrance, a focal point skilfully designed to integrate diverse areas and materials into a unified whole. The central core, adorned with wooden slabs and featuring wall cladding made of brass, bleached oak wood, and grey Obersun stone, seamlessly transitions into an open-sided library showcasing various artworks and an indoor fireplace. The continuous lines of cladding extend throughout the entire apartment, culminating in the kitchen with its sleek aluminium champagne-toned façade.

The public area of the residence, strategically positioned to capture stunning western sunsets, boasts a spacious terrace with an outdoor living room, as well as a grand outdoor kitchen and dining area. Meanwhile, the master bedroom, oriented towards eastern sunrises, offers a luxurious retreat complete with a jacuzzi and various seating areas.

In summary, Oberson Architects has masterfully united contemporary aesthetics with local charm in the Ton Sur Ton Residence. Through a careful selection of textures, colours, and design elements, they have created a holistic, monochromatic leisure home that not only embraces its urban environment but also celebrates the rich cultural heritage of Tel Aviv.
