Where does your design inspiration come from? :

My design inspiration comes from intentional pauses, authentic narratives, and moments of unexpected beauty. We are inspired by the opportunity to create spaces where every detail tells a compelling story of artistry, ecological balance, and transformative vision. This thoughtful approach results in architecture that is timeless, deeply personal, and rooted in a genuine sense of place.

In what direction do you feel that design is moving towards in a general sense? :

There is no single direction where residential design is moving. We find our clients embrace traditional as well as modern; open spaces as well as defined spaces. It is driven by the client’s mission and aesthetic.

If you could offer one piece of advice when it comes to designing, what would it be?:

Trust your design team and don’t be afraid to ask questions.

How important are The International Design & Architecture Awards? :

The International Design & Architecture Awards celebrate excellence in architecture and design on a global stage. They recognize projects that thoughtfully combine innovation, craftsmanship, and design integrity, while providing an opportunity to share ideas and contribute to the ongoing dialogue within the international design community.

What projects are you currently working on? :

-Renovation/addition to a historic home in the Boston area.
-A beach house on the South Shore.
-New construction in Rhode Island.

What was your favourite project to work on and why? :

My work centres around integrating the landscape with the building to create a visual dynamic that is both bold and liveable.

What was your most challenging project to work on and why? :

Every project has its unique challenges that we embrace as exciting opportunities to create meaningful work.

Which products/services could you not live without when designing? E.g. Lighting companies, furniture companies :

As architects, we love to work with natural materials that speak to the local environment.

What are your aims and goals for the next twelve months? :

I love the work that we have been doing for the last 40 years. For the next twelve months, I hope to continue that passion of working with clients and creating spaces for them.

A black Montblanc fineliner pen.
