Architect: Liana Loukou
Interior Designer: Angelos Angelopoulos

Angelos Angelopoulos has brought a visionary touch to the mountains of Corinthia with the interior design of Hermea Villa, a luxury retreat that fuses myth, nature, and meticulous craftsmanship. Perched 900 meters above sea level, this one-of-a-kind residence embodies both seclusion and story, where every design decision deepens the connection to its dramatic setting and cultural heritage.

The design palette draws from the changing seasons of Mount Cyllene, using rich wood, aged metal, and locally sourced stone to reflect the surrounding environment. Angelopoulos brought together handcrafted furniture, curated artwork, and bespoke lighting to create interiors that feel both timeless and intimately tailored. Underfloor heating and cooling systems, spa treatments, and EV charging points ensure the villa meets contemporary standards while maintaining its poetic atmosphere.

Hermea Villa accommodates up to 19 guests across six master bedrooms, with expansive communal areas, a cinema room, an indoor heated pool, and a wine cellar. Outdoor spaces are equally immersive, offering fire pits, native gardens, and mountain trails. For Angelopoulos, each element is part of a larger story—one of myth, materiality, and hospitality. Through Angelopoulos’s lens, Hermea Villa becomes more than a luxurious escape. It is a legacy carved into the mountainside, where architecture becomes narrative and comfort becomes communion with place.
