End Grain Ltd has completed a bespoke kitchen as part of a self build development, creating a refined and highly functional space that reflects the project’s strong commitment to sustainability, craftsmanship and contemporary living.

The brief called for a minimalist interior inspired by Scandinavian and Japandi influences, combining clean lines with natural materials and an organic aesthetic. The result is a calm and uncluttered environment that integrates seamlessly with the adjoining open plan living and dining spaces.

End Grain Ltd also demonstrated a high level of craftsmanship through the extensive use of hand veneering. All kitchen fronts and wall panelling were individually hand stitched, a process that required precision and attention to detail to achieve a seamless finish. This bespoke approach enhances the tactile quality of the interior while ensuring consistency throughout the space.

The design succeeds through its restraint and clarity. Storage and functional elements have been carefully concealed, allowing the kitchen to maintain clean sightlines and a sense of openness. By combining handcrafted detailing with minimalist design principles, End Grain Ltd has created a kitchen that feels both contemporary and timeless, perfectly suited to modern family living while remaining true to its sustainable foundations.
