EPR Architects has completed the interior architecture for Six Senses Spa London, a major wellness destination located within the subterranean levels of the reimagined former Whiteley Department Store in London. Forming part of Six Senses London at The Whiteley, the project represents the brand’s first urban hotel and spa in the Northern Hemisphere and sits within Foster + Partners’ wider £1.5 billion redevelopment of the landmark building.
Working within Foster + Partners’ architectural vision, EPR Architects was tasked with creating an intuitive layout that would integrate Six Senses’ wellness focused philosophy into a complex Grade II listed structure. Following extensive collaboration with developer Valouran and operator Six Senses, EPR Architects developed a design strategy that translates the brand’s renowned resort model into a contemporary urban experience centred on wellbeing.
