Francesco Conte Design has unveiled Etna 50, a striking 50 metre motor yacht concept that fuses stealth inspired geometry with the elegance and efficiency of a refined family explorer. Conceived under 500 GT, Etna 50 has been designed for private and charter owners who seek a sophisticated platform for diving adventures, offering both luxury and practicality in perfect balance.

Drawing inspiration from the angular profiles of stealth vessels and the fluid contours of submarines, Etna 50 embodies a distinctive aesthetic language, sharp yet harmonious, bold yet graceful. Her two tone exterior colour scheme was carefully selected to visually reduce volume while emphasising her dynamic, forward leaning stance. This fusion of modern precision and classical proportion defines the yacht’s overall identity, blending advanced naval design with timeless elegance.

Conceived for cruising in the Mediterranean and similar regions rather than transoceanic voyages, Etna 50 is purpose built for exploration beneath and above the surface. The aft deck is configured specifically for diving operations, housing dedicated lockers for compressors, wetsuits, and gas bottles, alongside a large display screen for predive briefings. This area serves as a practical yet social hub for guests preparing for underwater excursions.

Accommodation is arranged for ten guests across four cabins and a full beam master suite, complemented by an expansive main saloon and generous exterior lounging areas. The upper deck features an alfresco saloon with a bar and exterior galley, designed for effortless social gatherings in scenic anchorages.

One of Etna 50’s standout innovations is the inclusion of a drone garage on the sundeck. Equipped with an ecosounder, the drone can scout and scan potential dive sites remotely, enhancing both efficiency and environmental responsibility by reducing the need for tender deployment.

In keeping with Francesco Conte Design’s philosophy, Etna 50 was conceived not simply to float above the sea but to exist in harmony with it. Her balanced proportions, environmental sensitivity, and targeted functionality define her as a yacht of purpose, one that speaks to a new generation of owners who value exploration, family connection, and understated sophistication.
