Harry Miesbauer Yacht Design has unveiled a new 60ft racer-cruiser concept that seeks to redefine the balance between high-performance sailing and refined, timeless design. Developed for an experienced owner, the project is driven by the principle that “performance is the new elegance”, combining light displacement, advanced engineering and a clear focus on usability for both competitive racing and relaxed cruising.
The yacht has been meticulously optimised for IRC racing, with particular attention given to light wind performance. Extensive studies into weight distribution and volume have informed every aspect of the design, resulting in a structure that is both lightweight and seaworthy. Carbon fibre is used throughout the hull, deck and structural components to reduce weight while maintaining strength, contributing to both speed and efficiency on the water.
