HBA developed the suite interiors for Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, creating a collection of elevated, tailored spaces that reflect the scale of the hotel’s most exclusive accommodation. Inspired by the golden hour, the interiors explore a warm palette ranging from soft beige to rich brown, while subtle bronze and glass accents reference the building’s maritime character. Drawing on the property’s coastal setting, HBA adopted a contemporary tropical modernist approach, using natural materials and carefully considered planning to create a seamless relationship between the architecture and its surroundings.

Each suite was conceived as a private residence rather than an oversized hotel room, accommodating extended stays, private entertaining, family travel and VIP hosting. Living areas open onto spacious terraces overlooking the waterfront, while sleeping quarters are positioned for privacy alongside generous walk in wardrobes and spa inspired bathrooms. In the Royal and Pearl Suites, larger dining and lounge areas support entertaining without compromising comfort or flow.

HBA organised every suite into clear sequences of arrival, living, rest and wellness, connected through consistent detailing, aligned finishes and subtle transitions in lighting, level changes and material texture. Pale timber, hand trowelled wall finishes, veined stone flooring and layered fabrics create warmth, while bespoke furniture and lighting reinforce a calm, residential atmosphere. Bathrooms were designed as wellness spaces, featuring double vanities, rainfall showers, deep soaking tubs and natural stone finishes.

Operational performance was integrated throughout the design with discreet service access, concealed kitchens and minibars, engineered joinery and intuitive automation for lighting, curtains and temperature control. Flexible layouts, adaptable lighting presets and inviting terraces support a range of guest needs, while durable, timeless materials ensure lasting quality. Through this thoughtful residential approach, HBA created a cohesive suite collection that balances luxury, comfort and practicality while reinforcing the identity of Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab.
