The Stella Hotel is the first independent full-service hotel in Bryan/College Station, Texas. Settled along the coasts of Lake Atlas, residents are steps from lavish eateries and entertainment, while also having access to complimentary paddleboards, bikes, and lakeside trails. The 176-room hotel unites music, art, design, and service to handcraft a genuine Texas experience. Fresh but familiar, authentic yet evolved. A place that mirrors the progressive, intellectual spirit of our surroundings. From summer concerts on the lawn to seasonally inspired cuisine, everything about Stella exudes the warmth and cherished traditions of Texas.

Design Duncan Miller Ullmann wanted a space that the Bryan/College Station market was missing and desperately needed, a boutique lifestyle hotel with modern conveniences that offer guests amazing experiences with the venues on property. The onsite eatery Campfire boasts an open kitchen 10-seat chef’s table, and expansive patio with firepits and lakeside views, with a speakeasy-style bar. The design compliments the ongoing events hosted at the hotel. The Stella Hotel hosts multiple summer concerts on the front lawn with seasonally inspired cuisine. Guests also benefit from an onsite craft cocktail bar and a speciality coffee roasting company.

Design Duncan Miller Ullmann’s favourite aspect of The Campfire Restaurant is the outdoor dining atmosphere. This dining areas is a welcoming space that has a fun, bring-your-friends backyard vibe and adds to the casual comfort of the restaurant. The design works so well because The Campfire materials and finishes reflect the warmth and cherished traditions of Texas, this was a key characteristic according to Design Duncan Miller Ullmann.
