With an innovative design and unparalleled architecture, Kobi Karp Architecture and Interior Design created La Gorce Residence, an amenity-rich retreat which showcases the ultimate blend of indoor/outdoor living. Located near downtown Miami, the design of this estate, coupled with its lush landscaping and sweeping water views, evokes the feel of a classic tropical vacation, with a contemporary twist. Wall-to-wall sliding glass doors allow the brilliant Miami sun to stream into the home and create a seamless flow from the interiors to the outdoors. Sweeping views of Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline can be seen from every angle, whether standing at the entrance of the home, relaxing in the infinity pool or standing on the rooftop terrace.

Off the pool is a detached pool house with a full bath. Kobi Karp Architecture and Interior Design spared no expense when outfitting the home with resort-like amenities, including a fitness centre and an in-home theatre. There is a 200-plus-bottle wine room and a sophisticated chef’s kitchen. A maid’s room and private elevator complete the residence. Its numerous attributes, finishes and features give the home the highest standard of luxury on one of South Florida’s most coveted locations, La Gorce Island.

With an expert hand, the home has been beautifully designed. The marriage of bright colours and natural and organic hues make La Gorce Residence pop. With dynamic architectural features, like a curved staircase and large indoor columns, La Gorce Residence offers plenty to see. The composition of the home has been executed using an array of dynamic features, including an indoor Koi pond; however, the design is not overwhelming. The true focal point of the residence is the view of Biscayne Bay, and the home’s design simply enhances that. This residence blends modern luxury with natural and organic elements.
