First 5 Trident in Med Europe, Club Med Cefalù is nestled atop the picturesque sea cliffs, offering breath-taking views on the Rocca of Cefalù. An iconic Club Med resort, the Cefalù story started over 60 years ago when Club Med opened a “hut” resort. In 2016, following its move up-scale, Club Med decided to make the most of this unique and privileged location creating Europe’s first 5 Trident resort. Built on the existing grounds of the previous resort, the revamped 5T Club Med now showcases two historical buildings, a constant reminder of the Sicilian dolce vita. The Club Med design guidelines were as follows: reinterpreted local touch and environmental responsibility, premium atmosphere, comfort and ergonomics and picture perfect.

The project signed by the architectural firm King & Roselli and the refined interiors designed by Sophie Jacqmin are fruit of their authors intent to create harmony with the surrounding landscape, with a fusion of nature and elegance. Everything is strictly state of the art with contemporary comforts and design, without however forgetting tradition and history, which are highlighted and brought to life through new uses. The Palazzo houses and the gourmet restaurant which stand next to the Church of Santa Lucia, makes the ideal setting for fairy-tale weeding’s, where guests can also enjoy the comforts of the Canonica Suite.

Elegance with a touch of baroque: The Club Med team asked Sophie Jacqmin to evoke summer holidays, with Mediterranean flair in the interior design for this hotel. Sophie was inspired by the natural landscape and its colours and around this concept she developed a project where everybody could feel, depending on their mood, alone with nature, with him/herself or with other people. According to this idea, the resort is a frame where nature is worshipped.

Every area of the Club Med Cefalu inspires comfort. The element of surprise is a key to answer the promise of Club Med “Amazing you” which aims to impress each guest. For furniture, Jacqmin chose the pastel colours of precious materials like nacre and some reference to Baroque, a style that represents the splendid architecture of Sicily. Club Med Cefalù strengthened its value proposition for high-end all-inclusive holidays through an exclusive architecture and design concept, fine dining experience and a wide sports and entertainment offering. This broad variety of options enables all customers to tailor their stay to their needs and expectations while preserving the high-endness of their stay.
