The Oceanfront resort Cadillac Hotel and Beach Club is an icon 70 years in the making. Following a multi-million dollar renovation, Bill Rooney Studio has elevated the 1940’s Art Deco style, offering a fresh interpretation of its original classic stylings and old Miami charm to provide a distinctive option in Miami.

Bill Rooney Studio have artfully incorporated beautiful modern materials and contemporary details to carry the hotel and beach club into the future.  The hand-crafted plaster palm leaf patterns that adorn the lobby ceilings add new life to the building, though ensures that the design compliments existing Art Deco architectural fabric. The new guestrooms have been designed to facilitate luxurious lounging of an era gone by and with an international flare, all inspired by the past glory of the hotel and Miami Beach.  The hotel features 357 guestrooms outfitted with meticulously designed décor that draws inspiration from the glamour and sophistication of the 1940s deco style while embracing a sleek and soothing Miami modern style. Bill Rooney Studio has ensured that the resort retains strong elements of world-famous Art Deco architecture; refined and elevated for contemporary design.

Bill Rooney Studio looked to portray a clean opulence with their design; this concept is carried through the crisp architecture that works so well in the bright Miami sunshine.  New Deco details that are found throughout the guest rooms have been added and reinvented, with the designer’s favourite aspect of the project being the Deco inspired fluting details. Crisp white stone floors, white walls with Deco inspired articulation, flattering ambient lighting, and subtle smoky blue accents create a sanctuary that allows the guest to unwind in style.

The end result is inspiring and highly stylised, whilst also being equally welcoming and comfortable. Bill Rooney Studio’s renovation of Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club provides guests with a glamorous and luxurious experience from arrival to departure.
