The Ibis Styles Lublin Old City takes visitors on a journey in the footsteps of the legends of the city, introducing custom made furniture, installations and details referring to each story. The concept was created for those who like to be surprised and intrigued, looking for adventure, but also like comfort. The hotel introduces a new, inconspicuous style of presenting stories in interiors, with a modern approach and as a tribute to the rich history of Lublin.

Ibis Styles brand is known for unique and original design. These hotels stand out from the crowd by carefully selected details, which are linked by creativity and exceptional storytelling, which is a trademark of both Ibis Styles hotels and Tremend Studio.

Lublin, which is referred to as a capital of eastern Poland, is one of the most rapidly developing cities of this region. It is not only an academic and business centre, but it also attracts a lot of tourists. The most representative part of the city is Old Town, therefore the designers decided to take guests on the journey in the footsteps of the city’s legends. From a large number of historical figures, only six were chosen to highlight the history of this wonderful city. The hotel space was divided into areas, each of which present a different story. The zones themselves become visible by using floor changes, ceiling arrangements and different equipment. The smooth transition between zones is possible through the continuous interior design themes of characteristic elements and keeping similar materials consistent.

One of the main décor elements are the fish reception stands and caught in net lighting, inspired by a legend about the Tench, which refers to the genesis of the name of the city. There are also details referring to stories about a mysterious treasure, or a daughter of a Goldsmith (brick wall with shelves “windows”), or the tree installation which refers to legend about Prince.

All the interiors are harmonious throughout the space, introducing the story of the city to the guests and intriguing enough for them to go out and explore, and learn more about the rich history of Lublin.
