The design process for the Exclusive Suite at The Gordonia Private Hotel in Maale Ha’Hamisha was based around established principles that Ran & Morris Architecture & Design developed when working on the original suites at the hotel, 5 years earlier. The hotel provides a peaceful getaway for it’s guests, with a sense of serenity and connection to its location throughout the design which crests in the suite.

Perched on a peak in the Judean Mountains The Gordonia Private Hotel rises like a micro-climatic paradise in the former communal grounds of Kibbutz Ma’ale Hachamisha. It is a serene oasis where each of the hotel’s twenty-one luxury suites contains, compliments, and completes the natural surroundings. Perfected by the majestic and endless views of Jerusalem’s peaceful outskirts, each room is grounded within the location. Tones and textures are taken from it’s pastoral setting for a calm ambience and respect for the views that are offered.

The Exclusive Suite carries the essence of Ran & Morris Architecture & Design’s concept, continuing the comfort of the other rooms with further luxuries for the most impactful experience. It is a spacious suite with private pool and balcony, as well as a hot tub and double sauna which overlooks the spectacular view of the Jerusalem hills. For Ran & Morris Architecture & Design it is the harmonious atmosphere that is the main reason why the design is so successful. The interior design does not compete with the mountainous landscape, but rather makes an attempt to complete it and thus creates a tranquil atmosphere for the guests.

The designers did not deviate from their earlier principles for the Exclusive Suite, but rather incorporated more intense colours and sophisticated furniture. The lighting fixtures and art are sources from leading local companies, and are placed alongside unique complementary items.
