Upon entering a two or three-bay suite, guests are greeted with a whimsical gallery-like foyer, for a fresh and playful arrival creating an immediate sense of warmth and sophistication. The journey begins with an immediate sense of European architectural taste embodied in the refined layered mouldings featured throughout the white ceiling and walls of the living area, further enhanced by a colourful selection of eye-catching paintings and photographs to complement the overall neutral colour palette. The challenge was to create a modern interpretation of a London hotel – as if you walked off a busy street into the cosy warmth of this London-inspired hotel.

The pleasant luminosity of the ambience is tastefully highlighted by the elegant simplicity of a chesterfield sofa in velvety grey and a cosy high-back armchair wrapped in smooth tan leather. The bedroom features a knitted chevron-patterned headboard to gracefully frame candid marble nightstands; light coloured artworks on the wall complimented by a customized carpet in stylized houndstooth pattern. Fluted sliding doors embellished with gleaming metal handles slowly unfold the fluent transitioning towards the secluded master bathroom. With a charming dash of wit and whimsy, clean black lines accentuate the immaculate profile of a splendid Victorian-style bathtub. Frosted glass with etched striped texture confers a balanced feel of privacy and openness within the toilet and the shower area, and the tartan-patterned mirror and crystal wall sconces give a last touch of finesse.

Upon arrival at each lift landing a unique British character in cast bronze meets guests, a London Bobby, Queen’s Guard, Punk Rocker and English knight are all represented. Exuding classic British luxury, the overall look is a thoughtful re-invention with the aim to transport guests to an iconic destination, evoking both excitement and intrigue.

Drawing inspiration from the iconic Savile Row in Mayfair where for over two hundred years the time-honored tradition of dressmaking bonded generations of talented tailors to create the finest bespoke suites, each space is a tasteful combination of design details and refined materials. The Londoner Hotel sits comfortably within The Londoner Macao destination Integrated Resort.

Challenged to capture the innermost essence of London’s lifestyle through a sophisticated design lexicon, which each two and three-bay suite subtly celebrates the best of British craftsmanship’s legacy, from the finely crafted and supremely comfortable leather arm chair to the bespoke tufted sofa, every detail is carefully crafted.
