This resort is the first to be built from the ground up in downtown Las Vegas in four decades. It pays homage to Vegas’ Golden Era through distinctive design, exemplary hospitality and nods to the city’s history while introducing high-tech advancements and cutting-edge amenities over its 1.25 million square feet.

The amenities include the world’s largest sportsbook; a year-round pool amphitheater, two-story casino, original, eclectic restaurant and bar concepts; a high-tech transportation hub, an expansive local art collection and its dramatically tapered 777-room hotel tower which is complemented by a rooftop lounge and panoramic observation terrace offering one-of-a-kind views of the Southern Nevada landscape. In the lobby, metallic gold circles on a dark wall and long graphic lines in the floor introduce the geometric aesthetic that defines the property. Exit the elevator into the hotel corridor and you will find tufted leather-looking panels with vintage Vegas graphic artwork. Deep blue wall coverings mingle with walnut-wooded door drops and dark blue carpet patterns inspired by electric blue tubes of neon light. The deep walnut woods and geometric patterned carpets of the guestrooms are softened by mid-century style lamps, custom artwork and warm, toffee flavoured accents. A mix of blues, ranging from sapphire to navy, anchor the room in various forms.

A whimsical wall graphic in the bathroom, designed by a local artist, pays tribute to the dancing dealers of retro Vegas and simultaneously offers an iconic picture backdrop when getting ready for a night out. Rounded corners on the bathroom mirrors keep the vintage vibe alive while modern angles of the marbled sink and shower, as well as touch screen lighting and temperature controls, align with today’s technical aesthetic. The colour palette is rich – velvety midnight blues back the dining chairs that surround a party-ready, black quartz table. The deep blue carpet under foot grounds the space while a metallic wall cover on the ceiling invites a sense of old-school glamour. Patterned accents throughout the space add a balance between light and dark.
