The boutique hotel MUZE, located centrally and close to the Hofgarten, the Artists Association Malkasten and the Goethe Museum in Düsseldorf-Pempelfort, banks on a blend of comfort and contemporary art. Part of the concept is to support contemporary artists and to offer them a unique and personal platform for their work. By using art, MUZE aims to create an intimate atmosphere, which will help guests to relax during their stay and to become receptive to creative inspiration.

Just by entering the MUZE Hotel one feels transported into a different era. The rooms and public areas have been designed in minute detail. Polished wood, pale travertine stone and the rounded lines of the furniture create a warm ambience. The entire amenity bears the hallmark of the Israeli architect Oshir Asaban, who designed the interior of the MUZE Hotel. Oshir Asaban says: “We drew a lot of inspiration from the early 50s, but at the same time tried to create modern content. The challenge was to find the right kind of blend of relaxed elegance and comfort which is at the same time accessible and unpretentious.”

The design of the light flooded rooms is also characterised by a timeless yet relaxed elegance with the appeal of the 50s. Classic, understated design elements are employed and made exclusively of sophisticated materials. The warm atmosphere of the rooms is created by a woven PVC flooring in combination with an ethnic cobalt blue rug, whilst the back of the beds and the window seats are upholstered in black, shiny leather. 50s style wardrobes with rounded corners and brass details are placed at the entrance of the rooms and create a vibe of bar furniture. A walnut wood desk and a leather armchair make each hotel room feel like home.

Breakfast and drinks, which are available until after midnight, are served in the bar which is located on the ground floor. Here, hotel guests from across the world, art enthusiasts, creative thinkers, connoisseurs, business travellers, trade fair guests and the neighbourhood come together.
