YeChun Teahouse is in Wuxi, China. The designer interprets the artistic conception of tranquillity and ease with the design style of a Chinese traditional Jiangnan Water Town. Typical materials that are extracted from Chinese traditional architectures achieve the combination of tradition and modernity. The combination of Chinese elements and modern materials enhances the atmosphere of diet and communication.

Chinese fans hang as lamps on the wall, and the light source behind it is indirect lighting. The shadow is like flowers, blooming on the white wall, shaping a beautiful Chinese artistic conception. The designer expresses the artistic conception of Jiangnan in a new and modern way, and tributes to the aesthetics of the “Song Dynasty” with an elegant and meaningful painting style.

The addition of a  patio is used to attract more natural light into the room and bring the outside in. The private dining room on the second floor combines abundant Chinese elements with lighting designed to create a warm and open space. The designer takes inspiration from the paintings of the Song Dynasty and expresses the humanity in the interior design, to make the space atmosphere traditional, contemporary, humanistic, and modern.

The interest in visiting the garden is integrated into the evolutionary logic of the scene by methods of modern design, to meet people’s various needs and group sizes when it comes to dining and creates an elegant oriental aesthetic atmosphere.
