Kimpton Aysla Mallorca stands as a testament to the architectural prowess of GRAS Reynés Arquitectos, exemplifying a harmonious union of design, diversity, sustainability, collaboration with the community, and reverence for local values. The genesis of this project originated from a meticulous client brief, entailing the revitalization and expansion of the Santa Ponca Country Club in Mallorca, featuring the incorporation of two new buildings alongside the existing Mallorcan manor house, the former club headquarters. Central to the endeavor was the creation of a comprehensive sports and leisure complex, embodying the ethos and principles emblematic of the esteemed Kimpton brand.

Integral to the project was the expansion of the hotel’s capacity to house 79 rooms, each encapsulating a distinctive room concept that accentuated the significance of outdoor spaces. The overarching vision aimed at establishing a profound connection with the local milieu, traditions, and values, manifested through expansive gardens, serene water features, and an indulgent edible garden.

Paramount to the project’s success was the resolute commitment to sustainability, encompassing a self-sustaining complex with minimal energy demands. Through the judicious implementation of solar panels atop the roofs, rainwater collection, and recycling systems, greywater reuse, energy-efficient insulation, and low-emission glass, Kimpton Aysla Mallorca emerged as a paragon of eco-consciousness.

At its core, the project sought to create a bespoke sports and leisure oasis in Mallorca, a veritable reflection of the quintessential Kimpton brand values, wherein diversity, sustainability, community engagement, and a profound connection to local heritage converged. This idea was brought to fruition through a harmonious amalgamation of the region’s landscape and architecture, meticulously crafted to accommodate sustainability initiatives while preserving the cherished traditions of Mallorca.

Indeed, Kimpton Aysla Mallorca triumphantly harmonizes with its surroundings, authentically embracing the architectural traditions, natural landscapes, and cultural opulence that Mallorca has to offer. This thoughtful integration underscores the resort’s unwavering commitment to providing guests with a profound and culturally immersive experience, encapsulating the island’s soul and spirit in every facet of their stay.
