Marasca Hotel & Resort is a luxury hospitality collection located in Khao Yai, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and popular weekend getaway, owned by Narai Hospitality Group. ASC Interior was the chosen designer responsible for the interior, architecture and construction making this the company’s first turnkey hotel project. The exclusive retreat destination comprises unique Glamper Vans, Luxurious Glamping Tents, and Private Home Haven Villas, each designed to create a home away from home experience for guests.

The client’s vision for the hotel was to create a sustainable luxury hotel that is strongly connected to nature and the local community. As such, the design brief required an eco-friendly hotel with a strong connection to its surroundings, local artisans and community, to preserve nature while offering guests the ultimate luxury experience. 

Marasca Khao Yai’s commitment to sustainability is reflected in the design and choice of materials. The use of natural materials such as wood, eco-fabrics like cotton and linen, and reuse of old client furniture, highlights the hotel’s connection with nature. ASC Interior sourced all materials locally, collaborated with local artists and artisans, and aimed to reduce material waste during the construction phase, while supporting the local community.

Drawing inspiration from the natural environment, the hotel’s architecture and landscape were carefully crafted to blend seamlessly with Khao Yai’s unique terrain. The design allows for the preservation of many large trees while also blurring lines between where the building ends and nature begins, providing guests with an immersive experience of being one with nature. The hotel’s concept of blending luxury and eco-friendliness in a back-to-nature boutique has helped create a mindfulness destination spot for guests seeking to rediscover their cherry on top moments.

In conclusion, ASC Interior’s exceptional design and construction work has brought the client’s vision for Marasca Hotel & Resort to life, creating a luxury countryside retreat destination that seamlessly blends with nature while supporting the local community and promoting sustainability.
