Bomporto Hotels recently unveiled their latest project, a luxurious 5-star hotel boasting 103 apartment-style suites, a destination spa, an indoor pool with ancient origins, and a variety of dining options, including a rooftop bar, restaurant, and café/concept store. Emphasizing luxury without the white gloves and service without the snootiness, Bomporto Hotels aims to offer a flawless experience without excessive fawning.

Named “The Rebello,” this unique hotel draws inspiration from the history of artists seeking refuge in industrial spaces. Throughout the years, industrial lofts and decommissioned factories have been a sanctuary for avant-garde artists, providing both space and affordable housing. The concept behind The Rebello celebrates the ingenuity and creative solutions that artists developed to adapt industrial spaces for living and working.

The design and identity of The Rebello embrace the art-making process and the essence of a studio. It seeks to immerse transient guests in an experimental hub where they can witness the creative process and coexist with half-made artworks, if only for a brief moment. The hotel’s visual language doesn’t attempt to replicate a factory, but rather pays homage to the creative energy and innovation associated with art-making and studio spaces.

Throughout the hotel’s interiors, guests will encounter unique and authentic art and objects carefully curated to stimulate creativity and contemplation about the artistic process and craftsmanship. The curatorial program features commissioned artworks and site-specific installations from talented local artists and makers, creating a dynamic and immersive environment.

The design approach of The Rebello honors the building’s industrial past and architecture while seamlessly integrating modern amenities, clean lines, bold textures, and striking details. The focus is on modern luxury that prioritizes function, material, tactile experiences, craftsmanship, and patina, rather than adhering to a specific theme or aesthetic. The interiors artfully blend original industrial features with contemporary and vintage design elements, resulting in a sophisticated, edgy, and industrial-inspired space.

The Rebello by Bomporto Hotels promises a truly immersive experience, where guests can revel in the creativity and ingenuity of artists and enjoy a blend of historical charm and modern luxury.
