Drawing inspiration from the illustrious Mayan heritage that permeates the region, the resort pays homage to its indigenous inhabitants. A striking feature is the motor lobby, adorned with a reimagined Mayan Arch, meticulously aligned with the hotel’s axis to coincide with the winter solstice, symbolizing the Mayans’ reverence for celestial alignments and cosmic energies.
