PPHE Hotel Group has unveiled its latest addition to the European hospitality scene with the opening of art’otel Rome Piazza Sallustio, a five star boutique lifestyle hotel that marks a bold new chapter for the brand in the heart of the Eternal City. Located near the historic Horti Sallustiani gardens, the hotel is a transformation of the former Hotel Londra & Cargill and brings a unique blend of contemporary art, history, and gastronomy to one of Rome’s most iconic districts.

At the core of this immersive concept is renowned Roman contemporary artist Pietro Ruffo, who serves as the hotel’s Signature Artist. In collaboration with interior designer Eyal Shoan and Digital Space, Ruffo has infused every corner of the hotel with his distinctive visual language. The result is a living canvas where celestial maps, zodiac motifs, and references to Rome’s layered history unfold across rooms, textiles, tiles, and even the building’s façade.

PPHE Hotel Group has ensured that the hotel is not merely a place to stay but a cultural experience. With 99 art-filled guestrooms and suites, the hotel now houses the largest permanent collection of Ruffo’s work, making it a destination for art lovers as well as travellers. The hotel also hosts regular exhibitions and events under its art’beat initiative, reinforcing its identity as a creative hub.

Further elevating the guest experience is YEZI, the hotel’s pan-Asian restaurant and bar with terrace, where art and cuisine intersect.
