Alexander Waterworth Interiors has completed a refined and immersive interior design for the Mandarin Oriental at Costa Navarino, crafting a luxurious environment that seamlessly blends cultural heritage, bespoke craftsmanship, and contemporary elegance. The brief called for a sophisticated yet comfortable aesthetic that would honour the natural beauty of the Peloponnese coastline while upholding the global standards of the Mandarin Oriental brand.

Alexander Waterworth Interiors approached the project with a deep appreciation for local Greek culture, subtly weaving traditional elements into a modern, understated design. Every detail, from custom-crafted furniture to material selections, was curated to reflect the region’s heritage while offering a timeless sense of style. The design features bespoke pieces that showcase Greek artisanal techniques, incorporating organic forms and clean lines that echo the natural surroundings.

Lighting played a crucial role in shaping the ambiance, chosen not only to illuminate but also to accentuate architectural elements and create a welcoming, serene atmosphere. The material palette was selected for both aesthetic value and sustainability, contributing to the layered, textural depth that defines the interiors.

Throughout the property, panoramic views of the Mediterranean landscape are thoughtfully framed, reinforcing a connection between interior and exterior. This natural integration enhances the guest experience, making each space feel both rooted in place and effortlessly luxurious.
