At just 60 sqm, Oliviya is a testament to the power of considered design. Accanto Interiors Ltd was tasked with transforming this compact Hampstead restaurant into an elegant, immersive space. The vision centred around sage green, a calming, grounding hue inspired by the area’s natural surroundings. This tone became the foundation for every design decision, unifying the interior and enhancing the sense of flow.

Accanto Interiors achieved openness through tonal consistency, layered textures and reflective surfaces, which subtly blurred spatial boundaries. Every element, from fabrics and tiles to finishes and joinery, was selected to complement the sage palette, strengthening the emotional connection between the interior and its environment. Smart zoning and seamless circulation were prioritised to ensure the layout worked effortlessly for both guests and staff.

One of the project’s most innovative features is the integration of CNC-cut panels over LED screens, simulating a window and expanding the perception of space. This thoughtful fusion of digital and physical elements elevated the user experience while maintaining visual cohesion.

Sustainability was a core principle throughout, with responsibly sourced materials from suppliers such as Panaz and Claybrook. This aligned with both the client’s values and the local community’s environmental consciousness.

The result is a serene yet dynamic restaurant interior that reflects Hampstead’s essence while reinforcing the brand identity. At Oliviya, Accanto Interiors did not just design a space, they engineered an experience. Every detail supports comfort, elegance and emotional resonance, proving that even the smallest spaces can have a lasting impact when designed with intention.
