After the Virgin Group acquired the estate in 1994, the buildings continued to deteriorate, with further damage caused by the 2020 Cap de Fibló storm, particularly to the medieval defence tower. GRAS Reynés Arquitectos focused on restoring this key structure alongside the tafona, a former oil press now incorporated into the hotel. Their sensitive approach retained original features such as stone arches, wooden beams, and hydraulic flooring, while introducing modern elements essential for functionality.

The surrounding landscape was revitalised with Mediterranean gardens, olive groves, and vineyards, enhancing the connection between the estate and its natural setting. Sustainability was integral to the project, with rainwater harvesting and biomass energy systems integrated to ensure environmental responsibility.
