Urban Soul Project has reimagined Domes Noruz Mykonos, a five-star resort blending Cycladic elegance with contemporary design. Located near the Mykonos port and overlooking Agios Stefanos Beach, the resort’s transformation masterfully integrates traditional architecture with modern elements. The elongated hillside site allows for unobstructed sea views, with most rooms offering breathtaking vistas. The buildings’ multi-level orientation and organic pathways evoke the charm of Cycladic villages, connecting internal, external, and semi-covered staircases for a fluid guest experience.

Private courtyards are integrated into the rooms, enhancing the Greek outdoor living concept. Small pools, pergolas, and semi-outdoor spaces maintain privacy while fostering a seamless indoor-outdoor connection. Pergolas provide a balance of shade and sunlight, reinforcing the resort’s tranquil atmosphere.

Common areas have been reconfigured into key focal points. Guests enter through an enclosed courtyard leading to a serene reception area. The upper-level bar, spa, and retail spaces transition to an outdoor lounge with uninterrupted bay views. On the lower level, a linear swimming pool and restaurant extend closer to the sea, with indoor and outdoor dining under a pergola.

Urban Soul Project incorporates textured facades, arches, and perforated claustra surfaces rooted in Cycladic tradition. Earthy tones and warm lighting unify interior and exterior spaces, blending harmoniously with the natural landscape. The resort’s design merges Cycladic simplicity with modern interventions, delivering a contemporary interpretation of Greek aesthetics that honours local character while embracing innovative architectural solutions.
