The Guerneres resort, designed by Bozeen Sarl, is a thoughtfully conceived alpine development comprising 79 units, including five apartment chalets, nine individual chalets, and a hotel residence with 41 apartments. The project is distinguished by its commitment to environmental sensitivity and its focus on creating authentic, comfortable spaces that avoid unnecessary ostentation while embracing refined craftsmanship. Each unit is fully furnished and equipped to the smallest detail, enabling residents and guests to arrive and immediately enjoy the experience, with even the first dining setting prepared in advance.

The architectural and interior approach blends tradition with contemporary design. Inspired by the historic chalets of Val d’Anniviers, with their aged timber structures and shingle roofs, the project incorporates clean modern lines to enhance comfort and maximize natural light. Raw, locally sourced materials, including stone, weathered wood, and natural textures, reflect the character of the surrounding village while introducing warmth and authenticity.

Spatial planning was carefully considered to celebrate the mountain landscape. Living areas are oriented toward expansive views, allowing residents to experience the changing alpine scenery from morning to evening. Large bow windows heighten this connection to nature, while circulation throughout the interiors remains fluid and intuitive, guided by light and framed perspectives.

The design succeeds in balancing aesthetics, functionality, and comfort while respecting the alpine identity of its setting. High-quality materials, soft textures, and warm tonal palettes create an atmosphere that is both welcoming and serene. By encouraging both conviviality and privacy, the project ensures that each resident experiences the warmth, intimacy, and ease of a true mountain home from the moment of arrival.
