The Orchid Room, designed by Jeffrey Beers International, was conceived as a dramatic lounge environment for members and their guests, where architecture, color, and light are orchestrated to produce an atmosphere that is both sophisticated and playfully expressive. Set within a near double-height volume, the space is articulated by a sequence of soaring arches that divide the interior into distinct zones while preserving visual continuity and an overarching sense of openness.

Expansive windows, paired with operable folding doors, establish a seamless connection between the interior and a private outdoor terrace. This design strategy allows natural light to permeate the space while reinforcing a harmonious dialogue between indoor and outdoor living environments.

The interior palette is defined by vibrant teal blues and greens, thoughtfully balanced with softer hues of pink, ochre, and terra cotta. This layered composition achieves a refined yet lively aesthetic. Suspended above the seating areas, sculptural pendant lights inspired by iris petals introduce a sense of softness and fluidity, complementing the architectural framework.

A striking feature bar anchors the lounge, highlighted by a soaring metal-and-glass bottle gantry that extends toward a bronzed mirrored ceiling, creating the illusion of amplified height and spatial drama. The stone mosaic flooring subtly guides circulation through the lounge into a more intimate game room, where darker tones and richer textures establish a quieter, secluded ambiance.

Arched windows and mirrored surfaces enhance the distribution of daylight, while ancillary spaces, including restrooms, are treated as experiential moments with playful monochromatic finishes and flowing ceiling forms. Collectively, these elements create an immersive, dynamic, and memorable environment.
