Eight years in the making, Topping Rose House is eclectic, classic and clean, maintaining a strong sense of the natural beauty and sophistication akin to the Hamptons.

The historic 1842 estate, named Topping Rose House, has been transformed into a luxurious destination inn. The property features an acclaimed restaurant and bar, 22 bespoke guest rooms and amenities including a wellness centre. Guest accommodations include luxury suites that have been configured within the historic mansion, twelve new guest cottages and three modern studios within a contemporary addition. A refurbished 19th century barn serves as a studio for private events. The suites are adorned with Tolomeo bedside sconces and custom-designed iron chests. Within the cottage suites, beds are crafted from reclaimed wood with custom upholstered headboards. Colour and pattern are used to create bold accents. Lime green and blue Madeline Weinrib rugs complement graphic pillows from John Robshaw Textiles. Black Windsor chairs pair with midcentury tables, befitting the inn’s origin with a contemporary look and feel. The design seamlessly connects old and new worlds, blending contemporary and traditional elements that emphasise comfort, luxury and the original antique appointments of the property. Luxury accommodations in historic buildings are rare on the East End of Long Island, and The Topping Rose House is no exception; the property is one of the only 5-star hotels in the Hamptons.
