Umari Casa Mont Tremblant is a contemporary lodging experience that focuses guests’ wellbeing for the body and soul. Designed by 2pi r Design for those in search of uncompromised comfort in a home away from home, this chalet is built for pleasure and relaxation. The interiors of the chalet ties together inspiration from a number of assorted cultures and home comforts to allow the guests a unique and fascinating stay. As a stark contrast to the hotel options offered in the area, 2pi r Design envisioned a stay at Umari Casa to be an unforgettable experience.

The tranquil experience begins at arrival, as the chalet is tucked away on a quiet, secluded site. Surrounded by forest and water, visitors leave the demanding business of tourist life behind by embracing the stunning environment that environs Umari Casa Mont Tremblant. Striking in its own right, the minimal architecture is juxtaposed by 2pi r Design’s choice of laid-back, soulful interior.

The neutral palette was selected for its purity of expression, framing the stunning views of its natural surroundings, and playing with simplistic yet sophisticated materials such as concrete and wide plank oak for wall and floor surfaces. The floor to ceiling windows not only showcase the settings of the Chalet, but also allow for an abundance of natural light to stream into each room. Full of character and comfort, the unique charm of this chalet’s design envelops you in its soft beauty.

Thoughtful design details can be found within in the millwork, furniture selection, eclectic artwork and accessories to create a laid-back style that exudes an effortless comfort. Unified by adding a playful yet harmonious variety of textures, 2pi r Design elevated the natural charm of the space with unique touches like hand brushed finishes and live edge woodwork.

No detail is overlooked in this beautifully appointed chalet. Equipped with two private bedrooms and a bunk-bed room, kitchen, cosy living room with a wood-burning fireplace and a large walk-out deck with hot tub for lounging, every room provides a calm space for the guests to revitalise and relax. Taking inspiration from a combination of getaway homes 2pi r Design incorporated aspects of interior design taken from log cabins of British Columbia forests and traditional chateau style country homes. Married with the contemporary Scandinavian architecture and cultural Brazilian and African accents, this chalet is a deep, fulfilling experience for every visitor.
