Wellesley luxury residence is located in the heart of Toronto, Canada. The property is a renovated Victorian style home with 3 bedrooms, a gym and outdoor space. The house was designed for a successful entrepreneur in Toronto with German heritage who has a passion for exclusive design furniture. “I wanted something urban and tailored that had a rich and moody atmosphere,” told the owner of the house.

Chapi Chapo Design created a unique design concept that blended history and modernity together with sleek details and appreciation of the eclectic and comfortable furniture elements. The kitchen became a sculptural element of the first floor, it is a combination of warm minimalism, featuring custom oak cabinetry with teal-coloured interiors and large slabs of leathered marble from Obumex.

The second floor has a darker and softer palette. An exclusive media room, featuring an oversize wall-to-wall sofa with a hint of colour fabric and rich wood panelling. The elegant bedroom has a feature tapestry that brings warms into the room, whilst the walnut bathtub brings a luxury vibe and surprise element to the space. The dark and moody gym has bronze metal tiles that compliment glass ribbed doors with bronze metal detailing throughout.

Wellesley Residence is an amazing transformation from an old traditional Victorian house to a modern, sleek and at the same time comfortable, timeless home. The property is also now equipped with professional and multifunctional spaces for the client. The kitchen was successfully designed as the focal point of entertaining, with clean lines and a modern approach for the resident that prefers to go out rather than cook at home. The office space has everything for running a successful business from home.

Chapi Chapo Design Inc. think that any space, no matter how big or small can become someone’s castle. Creating unexpected surprises, or purchasing that one-of-a-kind element, can be part of the design regardless of budget.
