In the illustrious setting of Maison Chopard at 1 Place Vendôme, a captivating transformation has taken place, orchestrated by the esteemed interior design firm Pierre-Yves Rochon PYR Design. This mythical hotel particulier, erected between 1718 and 1723, has undergone a meticulous rejuvenation that preserves its authenticity and historical significance, now standing as one of the most coveted luxury destinations in the capital.

Pierre-Yves Rochon’s global acclaim shines through as the firm breathes new life into this iconic structure, transcending conventional hotel norms. Rather than merely offering accommodation, this private residence by Chopard is a testament to meticulous design, enhancing the overall guest experience. It unfolds as a captivating journey through different eras and styles, immersing visitors in the rich history of Louis-Ulysse Chopard, the founder of Maison Chopard, with the overarching objective of restoring the hotel particulier to its golden age.

PYR’s distinctive approach champions the fusion of styles in both public areas and private rooms, creating a seamless blend that echoes the grandeur of the past. The hotel particulier unfolds as a bourgeois house, featuring an entrance that pays homage to 18th-century architecture, complete with black marble cabochons, natural stone walls, and a monumental fireplace. PYR’s redesign introduces a grand yet inviting two-level hall adorned with wrought-iron railings, beckoning guests to explore the various floors and experience the opulence embedded in every detail.
