Inside Studio has completed the design of a spacious family kitchen that serves as the heart of a newly built home, creating a timeless environment that balances practicality, elegance and everyday family living.

Commissioned by a family with teenage twin sons, Inside Studio was tasked with designing a kitchen capable of supporting busy daily routines while also accommodating large gatherings of extended family and friends. The brief called for a space that would feel warm and inviting despite its generous open plan footprint, avoiding the stark appearance often associated with contemporary kitchens.

Curved corners soften the architecture and improve circulation, while acoustic wall panels enhance comfort within the dining area. Layered lighting allows the atmosphere to evolve throughout the day, shifting from a bright and functional workspace to a more intimate evening setting.

Bespoke fitted joinery in the adjoining seating area echoes the kitchen design, creating visual continuity across the open plan interior. Through careful planning and restrained detailing, Inside Studio has delivered a kitchen that feels effortlessly connected to the wider home, providing a welcoming and highly functional setting where family and friends naturally come together.
