Paolo Castelli have been shortlisted for Lighting Piece Award in The International Design and Architecture Awards 2021.

Icone Luminose is a collection of floor lamps by Paolo Castelli which displays a perfect balance of forms and colours. With four models available in the collection, each of the lamps are made of metal structure in matt gold finish, and coloured blown glass.

Each of Paolo Castelli’s exquisite individual floor lamps that makes up the Icone Luminose Collection is composed of vases in Muranese blown glass. The different shapes are all handblown, with every shape having it’s associated colour across the range. The cobalt blue sphere, golden yellow bottle, and tobacco diamond Murano glass are stacked in an alternating pattern in each piece to create a collection of playful statement lamps with captivating refinement.

The artistic composition of the towered glass in each piece creates an alluring visual effect, distinguished by warm reflections when illuminated by the light source. A brass-finished round metal base and disk-shaped spacers complete the sophisticated look of this floor lamp. In each of Paolo Castelli’s pieces for this collection is a modern and rich design that carries familiarity in it’s geometric shapes, and elegance in it’s structure and luminosity.
