Glamorous co.,ltd. have been shortlisted for Restaurant Within a Hotel – Global Award in the International Hotel and Property Awards 2022.

In the restaurant area, the classic sculpture that painted in the modern style by Masataka Kurashina’s and Morita’s photo art are reflected in the arch moulded windows, and it seems as if you have lost yourself in the world of infinity. DADAÏ THAI VIETNAMESE DIMSUM is a new style restaurant that fuses food cultures in Asia and serves spicy Thai food, healthy Vietnamese food with plenty of vegetables and Dim Sum.

It is an Asian restaurant-bar with a monochrome French colonial style which characterized by arches, louvers, and herringbone. The layout is based on an escalator that crosses the plot diagonally with the counter seating and a kitchen at 45 degrees to the rectangle of the plot. The most impactful part of the space is the art work “Glamorous Lady” which serves as the muse of the restaurant installed on the 6 x 4 meter diagonal ceiling of the escalator.

From the entrance to the counter seats, the main dining room, the kitchen, and the lounge stone, the floor is raised in the form of a dais, so that guests can feel the power of the three-dimensional space that descends diagonally from the entrance. The back seating area overlooks the counter and the terrace creating a sense of space. The pillars in the compartment are covered with art frames, and dummy pillars are placed in the reversed position against the axis of the space to eliminate their existence. The main dining room faces the open kitchen conveying the presence of cooking while the other side looks into the geometric panoramic graphics of the lounge wall. In each bathroom, there is a mirror engraved with a French love poem which lifts the spirits of the guests.

The space is decorated with innovative original art and greenery under the theme of dadaïsme. The site in front of the plot was covered with distinctive plantings and designed with a planter with a sign of the store name. The plantings and signage became an eye-catcher from the outside and cushioning from the hustle and bustle of the pedestrian street. Planter lighting fixtures are placed in the space, and the aligned greens in the store invite and connect the openness of the terrace through the large sash opening into the store.
