A defining characteristic of the project is the use of wooden screening elements that wrap the exterior in both fixed and operable forms. These layers provide shading, privacy, and a softening effect that balances the contemporary architecture. Their rhythmic presence introduces warmth and intimacy, qualities not always associated with modern villas, and reflects the studio’s commitment to thoughtful detailing and human-centred design.
Inside, JSH Algarve Arquitectura Lda employs a meticulously curated palette of stone and wood in varied tones and textures, ensuring cohesion across all spaces. Every bedroom suite, as well as the office, enjoys complete privacy and its own terrace, creating individual retreats throughout the home. The open-plan kitchen, dining, and living areas transition effortlessly to expansive outdoor terraces, framing uninterrupted views of the lake, golf course, and surrounding pine forest.
From the rooftop terrace with pool and outdoor kitchen to the lower-ground level featuring a wellness area, cinema, gym, and a rotating-platform garage, the design maintains consistent elegance and functional sophistication. All technical systems are discreetly integrated, preserving the villa’s calm architectural expression.
