The Seaview House project, designed by the interior design firm Lynne O Loughlin Designs, was developed in response to the client’s admiration for Frank Lloyd Wright and mid-century design principles. The brief centred on enhancing natural light while preserving the home’s existing character, ultimately creating a refined yet comfortable living environment.
To achieve this, the design introduced significant architectural and material interventions. The front hall was transformed through the replacement of smaller glazed elements with expansive windows and glass doors, allowing natural light to permeate the space. Throughout the home, lime-washed walls were applied to amplify brightness and create a soft, atmospheric quality, complemented by light oak flooring that adds warmth and visual continuity.
