In this project, reflection becomes a design material rather than an effect. Every surface interacts with light and movement, creating an interior that is expressive yet composed. The result is a cinematic, contemplative space that mirrors the pulse of Istanbul while offering calm, precision, and sculptural beauty.
In this 346 m² residence within Istanbul’s landmark Çiftçi Towers, Noyan Berkman Interiors reimagines urban living as an immersive, sculptural experience where architecture, reflection, and light move in harmony with the city.
Designed for a bold, culturally attuned client, the apartment was envisioned as a cinematic interior, alive by day, atmospheric by night, and always in dialogue with Istanbul’s skyline. At its core lies a fluid mirrored ceiling spanning the main living area. Acting as a “liquid” fifth façade, it captures daylight panoramas and folds the city’s night lights into the home after dark. Combined with full-height glazing and brushed stainless-steel wall panels, the ceiling transforms the space into a vessel of reflection, suspended between steel and sky.
