The International Design & Architecture Awards 2026
Ocean Drive Designs created a cohesive interior by pairing a rich palette of blues and greens with warm white oak, allowing each room to maintain its own identity while contributing to a unified aesthetic. A custom engineered metal pivot door creates a dramatic entrance, complemented by a marble step that flows seamlessly from the exterior into the home. Beyond the entrance, a sculptural tree serves as both a striking artistic feature and a functional focal point within the open plan layout.
Fantasy Macubus marble, distinguished by its dramatic blue veining, forms the signature material throughout the renovation. Ocean Drive Designs used the stone across multiple spaces, with careful fabrication ensuring the natural veining aligns perfectly across the kitchen island and television feature wall. Brushed gold hardware and fixtures introduce warmth and elegance, balancing the bold palette with understated sophistication.
Individual spaces were carefully designed to create distinctive experiences. The powder room features Phillip Jeffries wallpaper that adds personality and texture, while the master bathroom combines an emerald green stone slab with textured white rippled tiles and brass tile detailing to create depth, shadow and visual interest.
Exceptional craftsmanship underpins every aspect of the project. Specialist engineering was required to fabricate and install the custom pivot door, while the guest bathroom features bespoke ombre mosaic artwork created by a dedicated mosaic artist. Through carefully considered material selections, intentional colour choices and bespoke detailing, Ocean Drive Designs has created a luxurious residence that is both visually compelling and perfectly suited to modern living.
