Pearson Lloyd, in collaboration with Lufthansa, has unveiled a reimagined business class concept that challenges traditional cabin design by introducing a multi-seat ecosystem tailored to the needs of modern travellers.
Originally commissioned in 2015, the research-led project set out to explore the future of premium long-haul travel. Pearson Lloyd identified a significant shift in passenger demographics, with business class no longer serving solely corporate travellers but also entrepreneurs, creatives, families and leisure passengers. This evolution highlighted the need for a more adaptable environment capable of functioning as a living room, workspace and bedroom within the constraints of an aircraft cabin.
