Where does your design inspiration come from?
For me, inspiration is not limited to architecture. It is found in everyday moments – a beautifully tailored garment, an unexpected composition in the street, the texture of natural materials, a work of art, or even a passing remark that shifts the way i think. I approach the world with curiosity, believing that every experience holds the potential to inspire . these collected impressions naturally find their way into my work, shaping spaces that are thoughtful, personal and rich in character.

In what direction do you feel that design is moving towards in a general sense?
The future of architecture and design will undoubtedly be shaped by rapid technological advancement. Artificial intelligence, digital tools, and new methods of visualization and fabrication will continue to transform the way we design, communicate, and build. These innovations open exciting possibilities and allow us to work with greater precision, efficiency, and creativity.
At the same time, I believe that meaningful architecture must remain deeply rooted in the timeless principles of design. An understanding of architectural history, proportion, materiality, craftsmanship, and the relationship between people and place is essential. Without these foundations, even the most technologically advanced designs risk becoming superficial.
The future of architecture lies not in choosing between innovation and tradition, but in bringing them together. Technology should enrich the creative process—not replace the human intuition, cultural awareness, and architectural values that give spaces their depth, identity, and lasting significance.

Name five key themes to consider when approaching design in the future.
1. Adaptability & Flexibility
Design spaces that can evolve with changing lifestyles, technologies, and future needs, remaining relevant over time.
2. Human-Centered Design
Create architecture that responds to the way people truly live, supporting wellbeing, comfort, functionality, and emotional connection.
3. Connection to Nature
Embrace natural light, authentic materials, and a seamless relationship between interior and exterior spaces to create environments that feel grounded and timeless.
4. Context & Identity
Respect the unique character of each site, its climate, landscape, and cultural context, allowing architecture to emerge from its surroundings rather than impose upon them.
5. Innovation Rooted in Timeless Principles
Use emerging technologies to enhance the design process while remaining grounded in the enduring values of architecture—proportion, materiality, craftsmanship, and thoughtful design.

What are your aims and goals for the next twelve months?
Over the coming year, my goal is to continue doing what I love most—creating meaningful architecture that enriches people’s everyday lives. I look forward to completing projects that have been shaped with passion and dedication, while embarking on new and inspiring residential commissions. I also hope to expand my work beyond national borders, embracing opportunities to design projects internationally while remaining true to the values that define my architectural approach.

Your most treasured possession?
My most treasured possession is my sketchbook. It is where every project begins—with the first thoughts, the first lines, and the first spark of an idea. Long before a design becomes architecture, it exists as a simple sketch: a quiet conversation between imagination and possibility. Those early drawings are the most meaningful to me, as they capture the pure essence of a project before it takes physical form.

Your favourite holiday destination?
Rome. Without a doubt.
For me, Rome is the perfect destination because it brings together everything I love. It is a city where architecture is not confined to museums—it lives in the streets, the piazzas, and even beneath your feet. Every stone tells a story, every façade reflects centuries of history, and every corner reveals a dialogue between past and present.
I am endlessly inspired by its beauty, elegance, culture, exceptional food, and vibrant atmosphere. It is a place where I can experience a true holiday while constantly discovering new architectural details and timeless design. Every visit reminds me that great architecture is not only about buildings—it is about creating places that continue to inspire generations.

Hotel: The J.K place ROMA, Rome
Restaurant: Loves good fresh food anywhere in the world

If you weren’t in this sector, what would your alternative profession be?

I have never imagined myself doing anything else. Ever since I was a little girl, I knew I wanted to be an architect. I feel incredibly grateful that I have been able to turn that childhood dream into a profession that continues to inspire and challenge me every day.

Your favourite food and drink?:
Food: Freshly caught flounder, simply cooked with lemon & butter (with a crisp glass of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc)
Drink: A Negroni (actually: make that two).

Your favourite way to spend an afternoon?:
Sipping cocktails with dear friends at The Sunset Bar, anticipating a fine meal and blissful evening to follow.

If you weren’t in this sector, what would your alternative profession be?:
Probably a lawyer – but certainly one who wished he was an architect.
