Tell us a little about your background in design

I’ve gained most of my experience through self-learning and by working on small projects during the early years of my business. Even today, every project we undertake is an opportunity to learn, grow, and refine our craft. Interior design is a continuous journey, and I believe there is always something new to discover and improve.

How would you describe your personal design style?

The design style leans toward luxury contemporary classic interiors, with a strong emphasis on comfort, elegance, and timeless appeal.

Where does your design inspiration come from?

Since I was a little girl, I’ve always viewed the world through an artistic lens. I find inspiration in everyday moments—whether it’s a walk in the park, a visit to the mall, traveling, or even watching movies and TV shows. Like many designers, I also draw endless inspiration from platforms such as Instagram and Pinterest, where creativity is constantly evolving.

In what direction do you feel that design is moving towards in a general sense?

I believe the field of interior design will continue to grow, as it is constantly evolving and offers endless opportunities for innovation and creativity. As Robert L. Peters aptly said, “Design creates culture. Culture shapes values. Values determine the future.” I believe this quote perfectly reflects the lasting impact of thoughtful design on the way we live and experience our surroundings.

Name five key themes to consider when approaching design in the future.

I’m not a fad or trendy designer and never have been as a person in general, thus I find it quite limiting to name five themes as I believe each and every space should have a unique design of itself. The surroundings, the general environment, the size of the space, the location, the distinguished preferences and a lot more other aspects, all call for their own theme when designing.

If you could offer one piece of advice when it comes to designing, what would it be?

The keyword is Timeless. I always praise less is more. I wouldn’t recommend approaching heavy designs that suffocate the space from breathing.

How important are The International Design & Architecture Awards?

In addition to celebrating great design, the International Design & Architecture Awards also help to promote the importance of design in shaping the world around us. They showcase the power of design to inspire, transform, and encourage designers to push the boundaries of what is possible. Overall, the International Design & Architecture Awards are an important event in the design industry, both in terms of recognizing excellence and promoting the importance of design as a driver of innovation and creativity.

What projects are you currently working on?

We are currently working on several luxury residential projects, including a number of renovation projects that have been both challenging and incredibly rewarding. While renovations often present unique complexities, they also offer the opportunity to transform existing spaces in remarkable ways. Seeing the final results exceed both our clients’ expectations and our own makes the journey especially fulfilling.

What was your favourite project to work on and why?

I genuinely fall in love with every new project we take on—it’s a never-ending love story for me. I often tell my team, “This is my favorite project,” and then we complete it and begin another, which quickly becomes my new favorite. Every project has its own story, challenges, and character, making each one a unique and rewarding experience.

What was your most challenging project to work on and why?

Renovation projects are always the hardest, as you never know what to expect behind those walls.

Which products/services could you not live without when designing? E.g. Lighting companies, furniture companies

Definitely Autocad from the softwares, and the fabric swatches and material trays from the tangible products.

What are your aims and goals for the next twelve months?

Personally, I have always aimed to make a positive change wherever I go, whether with projects we work on or through the posts we share. Thus, I aim to have our office be one of the most inspirational Interior Design Studios in the region and globally.
I love designing residential projects, and we will keep on focusing on that, but we are also focusing on growing more in the commercial sector. We are always expanding our team to accommodate the high demand for our services.
