Tell us a little about the company background:
With over three decades of experience, the Debora Aguiar’s Office has established itself as a true “designer architecture” brand, recognized for creating projects that translate a lifestyle based on well-being, comfort, and connection with nature. Its extensive and diverse portfolio embrace high-end residences, hotels, real estate developments, as well as corporate and commercial projects, both in Brazil and abroad. Throughout this journey, the firm has developed a signature language marked by the integration of spaces, fluid circulation, and a sophisticated, light, and timeless aesthetic.

How does your company approach each project from concept to completion?:
Every project is born from deep listening and a strategic look at the client. We seek to understand not only functional needs but also habits, desires, and lifestyle. From this, we create a concept that guides all stages—from architecture to interior design, landscaping, and art curation. Our process is comprehensive and integrated, with close monitoring in all phases, ensuring coherence, excellence, and a highly personalized result.

Where inspires your company in this sector?:
Nature is our main source of inspiration. It guides not only the aesthetics, but also the way we conceive spaces—valuing natural light, ventilation, organic materials, and the presence of greenery. We also seek references in travel, art, design, and the cultural diversity of the places where we operate. Our goal is to create environments that provide sensory and emotional experiences, rather than simply following trends.

In what direction do you feel that your projects are moving towards in a general sense?:
Our work evolves towards an increasingly sensitive and integrated approach, in which well-being, sustainability, and sophistication coexist naturally. There is a deepening in personalization and in the creation of spaces that accurately reflect each client’s identity, as well as a careful attention to the longevity and relevance of environments over time.

Name five key themes to consider when approaching projects in the future. :
• Well-being and quality of life
• Sustainability and environmental awareness
• Integration between architecture and nature
• Personalization and identity
• Technology applied with subtlety and discretion

If your company could offer one piece of advice when it comes to projects, what would it be?:
Designing is, first and foremost, about understanding people. More than following trends, it is essential to create spaces that make sense in daily life, bringing comfort, identity, and a true connection with those who will live in them.

How important are The International Yacht & Aviation Awards?:
They are extremely relevant for recognizing projects of excellence in a highly technical and demanding segment. In addition to international visibility, they expand connections and strengthen our global reach, fostering valuable exchanges with professionals from around the world.

What projects are you currently working on?:
We currently develop projects across different scales, including high-end residences, hospitality, and real estate developments in Brazil and abroad. Our international portfolio spans destinations such as the Amazon, Pantanal, Luanda, Belize, Miami, New York, Montreal, Geneva, London, and Crans-Montana, among others. We also continue to work on special projects, such as interiors for vessels, which require highly technical and customized solutions.

What was one of your company’s key projects to work on and why?:
Throughout our journey, rather than highlighting a single project, we emphasize the diversity and complexity of our portfolio as a whole. We operate across various fronts—from architecture to interiors, furniture and object design, as well as high-end hospitality and real estate projects. This breadth allows us to navigate different scales and contexts, always maintaining a consistent and original language. Projects in locations as diverse as the Amazon, Pantanal, Miami, New York, London, or Belize reflect this adaptability and reinforce our commitment to creating unique experiences, regardless of the setting.

What was your company’s most challenging project to work on and why?:
Our greatest challenges lie in projects that require a precise balance between creativity, technique, and context—whether in remote natural environments or large-scale international undertakings. Designing in locations like the Amazon and Pantanal, for example, demands solutions that deeply respect the surroundings without compromising on comfort and sophistication. Likewise, operating in international markets requires cultural sensitivity, precision, and a sharp understanding of different lifestyles. This is where our work is strengthened: in our ability to transform complex challenges into consistent, sophisticated, and highly personalized solutions.

Which products/services could you not live without when completing projects?:
Our work involves a careful curation of all elements — from architecture to final details. This includes lighting, carpentry, furniture, landscaping, and especially the curation of artworks, one of our main differentiators. Each choice contributes to building a unique narrative, aligned with the history and passions of each client.

What are your company’s aims and goals for the next twelve months?:
Our goal is to further consolidate our international presence and expand our footprint in hospitality projects and the high-end real estate market. We also aim to strengthen our signature design and deepen strategic partnerships, always focusing on creating solutions that consistently integrate aesthetics, well-being, and innovation.
