How would you describe your personal design style?:
My design style is characterized by balance, clarity, and purpose. I aim to create spaces that are strong yet understated — timeless rather than trendy. Natural materials such as walnut, marble, and stainless steel interact in harmony, each telling its own subtle story. I am drawn to curved forms and smooth transitions, which create continuity rather than abrupt endings. Corners feel like conclusions, while curves keep the design alive — reflecting how life itself is fluid and ever-changing.
Where does your design inspiration come from?:
Much of my inspiration comes from nature, travel, and the emotional connection between people and their environments. When I spot something beautiful, the idea of what it could be transformed into excites me. A stylized version of a ceramic form I saw in Andalusia can look stunning as a wooden panel. Particularly, the harmony of wood and vibrant colors in Frank Lloyd Wright’s interiors inspired this project.
In what direction do you feel that design is moving towards in a general sense?
I believe design is evolving towards a more emotional, authentic, and human-centered direction. People today seek spaces that make them feel something — connected to nature, to memory, to sincerity. The future belongs to designs that are honest and timeless, not temporary or decorative.
Name five key themes to consider when approaching design in the future. :
1. Emotional connection and well-being
2. Timelessness – Designing with longevity and balance rather than noise or excess.
3. Harmony with Nature – Dissolving the boundaries between indoor and outdoor space.
4. Material Experimentation – Using natural materials consciously, combining tradition with innovation.
5. Cultural Continuity – Respecting history while revealing the hidden layers of place and time.
