Tell us a little about your background in design

I founded my studio after graduating with honors in Practical Architecture Engineering from Ariel University. Prior to establishing the studio, I specialized in planning coordination and design control, reviewing thousands of architectural plans annually. This experience gave me a strong understanding of spatial planning, functionality and construction precision.

I was naturally drawn to the world of design from a young age through a deep connection to aesthetics, order and detail. Coming from a family rooted in the arts — with a grandmother who was a tapestry artist and a mother who has led a graphic design and animation studio for over 30 years — creativity and visual language have always been part of my environment.

Today, the studio focuses on high-end residential and commercial projects, creating spaces that combine architectural thinking, emotional atmosphere and refined functionality.

How would you describe your personal design style?

I would describe my design style as “quiet drama” — spaces that feel elegant, calm and emotionally rich without appearing overstated. I am drawn to clean architectural lines, natural materials and layered textures that create warmth, depth and understated luxury.

My work balances sophistication with softness, combining timeless elements with contemporary detailing. I believe the most powerful spaces are the ones that create a feeling — refined, effortless and deeply personal.

Where does your design inspiration come from?

My greatest inspiration comes from people. Every client brings a different story, lifestyle and emotional world, and I love translating that into space. I am inspired by listening, imagining and giving form to emotions and aspirations.

I also draw inspiration from nature and natural materials — stone, wood, light and texture — as well as from traveling, discovering new places, boutique hotels, architecture and even the atmosphere of different streets and cities around the world. All of these experiences shape the emotional language behind my work.

In what direction do you feel that design is moving towards in a general sense?

I believe design is moving towards emotional simplicity. People are no longer looking only for beautiful spaces — they are looking for atmosphere, feeling and a sense of calm. In a world filled with constant stimulation and visual noise, design is becoming more intentional, functional and emotionally aware.

There is a growing appreciation for natural materials, timeless aesthetics and the idea that “less is more.” Spaces today are expected to feel effortless, refined and deeply connected to the people living in them.

Name five key themes to consider when approaching design in the future.
1. Emotional experience and atmosphere within the space
2. Timeless design over short-lived trends
3. Natural materials and authenticity — materials that retain their quality, beauty and relevance over time
4. Functionality integrated with clean and refined aesthetics
5. Sustainability and thoughtful spatial planning

If you could offer one piece of advice when it comes to designing, what would it be?
Create harmony before trying to create impact. A successful project is not about bringing every idea into one space, but about balance, restraint and knowing what to leave out. When design feels intentional and emotionally connected, it becomes timeless rather than trend-driven.

Most importantly — believe in what you create. Authenticity is always visible in good design.

How important are The International Design & Architecture Awards?

The International Design & Architecture Awards represent far more than professional recognition. For me, they symbolize a meaningful milestone — both personally and professionally. To be recognised on an international platform among leading designers is an honour and a reminder that design has the power to shape the way people feel and experience the world around them.

Coming from a modest background and building my path independently, this recognition carries deep emotional value. It is proof that passion, vision and dedication can transcend experience or age. I hope it also inspires young creatives to believe that design is not only a profession, but a true calling.

What projects are you currently working on?

Currently, I am working on several high-end private residential projects that focus on the relationship between interior and exterior spaces. These homes are characterised by expansive openings, natural light, large windows and a more open architectural approach that creates a strong connection to the surrounding environment.

Alongside these projects, I am also designing a large-scale development of over 2,000 sqm in Jerusalem, which includes a synagogue, kindergarten, public spaces and a grand lobby. It is a meaningful project that combines community, functionality and refined architectural language within one cohesive vision.

What was your favourite project to work on and why?

The projects I enjoy most are those that begin from the earliest planning stages and allow full creative freedom. As a designer, the most exciting part of the process is shaping a space from its foundation — when architecture, atmosphere and materiality evolve together naturally.

I especially enjoy working on private residences and hospitality-inspired spaces where there is room for imagination, emotion and thoughtful detailing. The best projects are always the ones where clients trust the process and allow creativity to lead the direction. Those projects often become the most balanced, unique and timeless.

What was your most challenging project to work on and why?

One of the most challenging projects I worked on was designing a home for clients with extremely high standards for precision, functionality and visual cleanliness. The challenge was creating a space that felt warm, elegant and emotionally rich while maintaining a minimal and highly organised aesthetic.

Every detail had to be carefully considered — from integrated storage solutions to spatial flow and material balance — in order to create a home that felt effortless and calm. In the end, the project became one of the most rewarding experiences professionally and personally, and a true example of how thoughtful design can transform the way people experience their everyday life.

Which products/services could you not live without when designing?

Natural materials and custom detailing are essential parts of my design process. I rely heavily on high-quality stone, wood, textiles and lighting to create atmosphere and emotional depth within a space.

Lighting, in particular, plays a critical role in every project. I see it as one of the most important elements in shaping mood, highlighting materiality and creating balance throughout the space.

I also value working closely with skilled craftsmen, custom carpentry professionals and suppliers who understand precision and quality.

What are your aims and goals for the next twelve months?

Over the next twelve months, my goal is to continue developing projects that combine strong architectural thinking with emotional and timeless design. I aspire to expand the studio’s international exposure, work on larger-scale and hospitality-inspired projects, and continue refining a distinctive design language that feels both elegant and deeply personal.

I also hope to keep creating spaces that positively influence the way people live and feel, while building meaningful collaborations with clients, artists and skilled craftsmen.
Beyond design, I am deeply inspired by everyday moments — light changing throughout the day, textures, music, fashion, travel and human interaction. I pay close attention to atmosphere and emotion, even in the smallest details.

I believe inspiration comes from being observant and emotionally connected to the world around us. Some of my best ideas emerge unexpectedly — while walking through a new city, visiting a boutique hotel or simply noticing the way natural light interacts with materials and space.

Design, for me, is not only about aesthetics; it is about creating a feeling people carry with them long after they leave the space.

Your most treasured possession?

My creativity and imagination. They are the foundation of everything I create and the driving force behind my work and personal growth.

Your favourite holiday destination?
Italy will always be one of my greatest sources of inspiration — especially Tuscany and the Amalfi Coast. I am deeply drawn to the balance between architecture, landscape, materiality and atmosphere that exists there so naturally.

Your favourite hotel, restaurant & bar?

I am especially inspired by places with a strong sense of atmosphere and timeless elegance.

Hotels such as Passalacqua and Borgo Santandrea inspire me through their refined materiality, emotional warmth and connection to their surroundings.

For restaurants and bars, I am drawn to spaces where design feels immersive yet effortless — where lighting, music, textures and experience come together in a memorable and understated way.

Your favourite book, film & song?

Book: The Harry Potter series, alongside motivational and mindset books that inspire growth in a genuine and meaningful way.
Film: I have always loved films that create a strong sense of imagination, emotion and nostalgia — especially the Harry Potter films, Grease, Disney classics and The Secret. I’m drawn to stories that combine atmosphere, fantasy, emotion and inspiration — elements that also influence the way I approach design.
Song: My music taste is very eclectic — from the cinematic softness of Lana Del Rey and the timeless emotion of Celine Dion to the energy and rhythm of Sean Paul and Beyoncé. Music, for me, is deeply connected to atmosphere and emotion, much like design itself.

Your favourite food and drink?

Food: Pasta and pizza — all day, every day. Italian food will always have my heart.

Drink: Coffee, especially iced coffee, and a good glass of wine at the end of the day.

Your favourite way to spend an afternoon?
My favourite way to spend an afternoon is either being with my young children or enriching myself creatively through design. I love exploring new projects, reading about architecture and interiors, attending workshops and finding inspiration through travel and new experiences.

If you weren’t in this sector, what would your alternative profession be?

I have always been drawn to both the technical and the creative worlds, so I believe I would still choose a profession that combines precision, emotion and creation. It could have been something connected to mathematics and analytical thinking, or another artistic field that allows creative expression.

I also feel deeply connected to the idea of being a midwife, because it represents a meaningful process of creation that combines sensitivity, intuition and technical skill. In many ways, I see a similarity between creating life and creating spaces — both are deeply emotional processes that shape the quality of people’s everyday lives, especially within the most important place of all: the home.

Anything else interesting?

Beyond design, I am a very intuitive and emotionally driven person. I believe spaces carry energy, and I approach every project not only from an aesthetic perspective, but also from a sensory and emotional one.

I am also deeply inspired by psychology, human behaviour and the way environments influence emotions, routines and daily life. For me, good design is not only about how a space looks — but about how it makes people feel.
