What began as a request for a neutral-toned renovation evolved into a deeply personal creation of love, where every element was either curated or custom designed to express character, joy, and individuality. The studio’s vision was to preserve the soul of the original house while completely revitalising its atmosphere, transforming the space into what the team affectionately calls “a happy place born from the ruins.”
The design draws inspiration from the surrounding forest, its colours, textures, and living energy. Nature is reflected in the palette, materials, and detailing, particularly within the dining room, where bespoke furniture, lighting, and artwork echo organic forms. The lighting fixture, personally designed by Sabine Rividi, features hand-built brass washers shaped to resemble the heart of a flower and a sculptural body crafted and painted in a car body shop to evoke the form of a tree branch.
