Natural materials such as wood, stone, and terracotta define the palette, complemented by Mediterranean vegetation and handmade pieces from Mallorca. The central sculptural feature, inspired by the desert rose, was created with artist Ramón de los Heros, who developed a unique material replicating the texture of the natural stone.
The new SALT restaurant project by Sandra Tarruella y Asociados, S.L. presented a complex design opportunity within the W Barcelona hotel. The studio was tasked with creating a space that functions as a restaurant, a breakfast room for hotel guests, and a venue for events. To accommodate these distinct uses, the team designed adaptable furniture suited to each purpose and incorporated emblematic fixed elements that provide continuity throughout the day.
