Walls were removed to create an open concept layout, allowing the kitchen to integrate seamlessly into the main living space. Part of the dining area was enclosed to form a refined and dedicated study, adding both purpose and balance to the plan. A defining feature of the project is the bespoke built in joinery, carefully designed to blend into the architecture rather than read as standalone furniture. Custom craftsmanship played a key role throughout the transformation.

The kitchen stands out as a focal point, characterised by harlequin flooring, panelled full windows and a statement cooker. Its impact lies in its simplicity, as the design avoids unnecessary gestures in favour of quiet confidence. Working with a neutral palette was approached as a considered risk, with the aim of allowing individual elements to shine without visual excess.
